Operation Steps of Small Pyrolysis Machine

Raw Material Feeding

The raw material enters the reactor through the feeding system. The main feeding methods are: manual feeding, hydraulic feeding and screw feeding.

Main Furnace Preheating

At this time, the main furnace begins to rotate with the drive device. The burner preheats the main furnace. The fuel can be natural gas, diesel, heavy oil, etc. When oil is seen in the sight glass, the preheating is over.

Pyrolysis Reaction

The raw materials in the small scale pyrolysis equipment undergo thermal decomposition. The molecular bonds of the high molecular hydrocarbons in the raw materials are broken to form small molecular hydrocarbons. At this time, high-temperature oil gas is formed and goes through the following stages:

  • Oil Gas Condensation: Under the action of the condensation system, the condensable components in the high-temperature oil gas form liquid fuel oil.
  • Syngas Recovery: The non-condensable components in the high-temperature oil gas enter the water seal. It undergoes purification to form syngas. Syngas enters the combustion system to replace the original fuel to provide energy for the pyrolysis reaction.
  • Waste Gas Treatment: The waste gas passes through the flue condenser and spray tower for cooling and dust removal. Finally, the chimney discharges it.

Cooling

When the oil output gradually decreases, it means that the pyrolysis reaction is approaching the end. At this time, stop heating the small pyrolysis reactor and wait for the furnace to cool down.

Solid Residue Discharge

After the temperature of the main furnace drops, the screw conveyor begins to discharge the solid residue in the furnace. At this time, the solid residue still retains a certain temperature. Therefore, the water-cooled screw discharge system can reduce the discharge temperature. After the solid residue is completely discharged, this batch of operation ends.
