    Raw Materials for Charcoal Production Equipment

    There are many raw materials suitable for carbonization, such as agricultural waste, forest waste, shell waste, sludge, organic waste.     End-products of Charcoal Production Line

    In Beston charcoal production line, the main product is the main charcoal. And the by-products are wood vinegar, tar and syngas. look at their yields.

  • Charcoal: if investors carbonize materials with a 10% moisture content per ton, about 300KG of finished charcoal can be obtained. Depending on the density and the carbon content of the materials, there will be difference in the proportion of charcoal produced.
  • Wood vinegar: taking raw materials with 10% water as an example, the wood vinegar is about 40KG—80KG (the greater the water content, the more wood vinegar will be obtained).
  • Tar: taking raw materials with 10% water as an example, the tar produced per ton of biomass is about 20KG—40KG.

    What is Charcoal Production Process?

    The charcoal production process includes preprocessing process, heating process, reaction process, discharging process and de-dusting process.

  • If the size or moisture content of the raw material is not suitable, it needs to be processed. So, investors can get high quality charcoal.
  • The combustion chamber is heated, and the hot air can pass through the drying chamber to dry the material. The temperature at this stage is about 0-150 degrees Celsius.
  • When the temperature reaches above 150 degrees, a significant pyrolysis reaction begins. When the temperature reaches above 300 degrees, the material begins to react violently. A large of tar, charcoal and other substances are produced. The temperature required for the carbonization reaction is 380 degrees to 450 degrees. The furnace temperature is 550 degrees to 650 degrees. the temperature of the finished charcoal is about 30 degrees to 35 degrees (requires anaerobic storage).
  • Taking wood chips and rice husks as examples, it takes about 15 minutes to 25 minutes to complete the entire charcoal making process from feeding to discharging. The particle size, density, and moisture content of the material will all affect the carbonization time.
  • The emission will be purified by the de-dusting system. The final emission meets the EU emission standards.
